Usually means that the libRETS-pinvoke.dll isn’t available in your classpath, or
is the wrong version.

Subject: [libRETS-users] Interealty RETS Server problems

Hi,

I have been using the librets dotnet library and VBExpress to connect to several
different RETS servers successfully for over a year, and have had no major
issues getting information. However, I have recently had to connect to the
Interealty RETS Server, and an error is thrown from a file I can’t find in the
librets download. I searched the site and read about the new dll’s that were
created around July 2006 due to issues with Interealty. I downloaded those and
replaced my earlier dll’s but this did not help. I am able to logon
successfully, but can get no further.

The code always fails at the statement:

Dim SystemMetaRequest As RetsMetadata = session.GetMetadata

At this point I get message box from the Visual C++ runtime library that says:

Assertion failed!

File: c:\odbcrets\vendor/boost\boost/shared_ptr.hpp

Line: 253

Expression: px !=0

I don’t have JIT installed since I don’t have .Net., and I can’t find the file
anyway.

Since I can’t get metadata, I haven’t been able to even try to get property
data, because I don’t know what my choices are for parameter values (like
property type).

Any help would be most sincerely appreciated.

Thanks,

Ann Vrbancic
